A Cloud a Day - Day Seven - 11th April 2011

I really need to curb my "Cloud a day" pics to just the one cloud, don't I... But I couldn't resist this sequence - after being so sunny at the weekend, and then just a bit cloudier today, I looked up from my desk around four this afternoon to see big dark clouds, and the trees thrashing side to side in the wind! A few drops of rain, some more menacing from above, and then it was all over again - sunshine and blue skies, tattered skirts of clouds... and then another gathering on the horizon, which became a darkening again... *g*

What a dramatic sequence! No wonder you couldn't choose! Our day was almost uniformly grey, with a long heavy shower in the middle. We had no wind, or virtually none, which affected everything, especially our clouds, or lack of them. Or, I suppose, we simply had horizon to horizon cloud.

Ah, I remember those days, in your part of the world... *g*

Interesting that it was so still too - we definitely had a breeze all day, and when I left work at around 3ish I noticed that it was a warm breeze... and then a couple of hours later, the stormwind! *g*

Also - you know, if you turned your icon upside down... Cloudlove! *g*
