May I come in? :)
moth2fic recommended me this sky-high comm and I'm grateful to her for it.
I'm not good in introducing myself, so I'll say only that I like to play sometimes with a camera or a some graphic tool, and everything more about me is to find on my profile and journal.
I have brought something from me. Will you forgive me a long entry?
(Ahem, full views are worthwhile.)
Icarus. The photo taken in September and online from a few days. Photos, in fact, it's a patchwork composed of fourteen shoots. We've already discussed it here. You find there also the explanation of the title. Bruegel and such...

Olympus, an older photo, the summer 2009.

Airscrew-elephs need support. Well, one day I just looked out of my window and...

Are photos only allowed? It's Renaissance. Technically it's a 3D fractal rendering, and what I had on mind were Old Masters' skies and heavens.

And if you work sometimes with graphic, here's a pack of free stock photos. Click the image, then 'Download' and you'll get 24.9 MB rar. Thirty files, from 1794 x 900 to 6821 x 2037, with a decent focus and cleaned of noise, so they're good if you need to make a really BIG work/print/whatever. They're under Creative Commons License, I want only credit (and the message, if you could). Good luck with your work!

Comments and remarks appreciated. :)

Welcome to the comm!
ETA - oh, and as for your 3-d fractal rendering, it's also rather gorgeous! The comm is about cloud-inspiration, as far as I'm concerned, and I think the rending fits in beautifully - such colours and swirls, very Old Masters, as you say!
